Medium lemon with gold highlights. Rich and profound. Deep stone fruit and melon flesh supplemented by crumpetty (not quite toast) oak. Nutty lees influence with a briny salty tang over a quirky new cardboard note and driving citrus pith. A tale of two halves with voluminous presence to begin before a gentle dissipation of the bittersweet grapefruit citrus flavour into tight lines of toothsome texture and biting acidity.
