Very happy that this label has continued at this price point, (as for the label: VISTA is an acronym for Varied Inclines Slopes Terrain & Aspects along with vista being the Italian word for “view.”). Vegan friendly. Heck, it’s even carnivore friendly. The 2020 is still available from the Longview website, but probably not for much longer.

Dark cherry and plum spice. Dutch licorice bullets, ground pepper, sweet roasted beets. With a silky, dark and bright chiaroscuro of black, yet ripe fruit. Perky and fruit forward yet with cheeky and vibrant acidity and little kitten’s tongue of tannin. It’s vino da tavola. It’s made for tumblers, friends and greasy fingers.
