Mid level here for the Heggies range. The Heggies Vineyard a fine site, sitting at 500 metres above sea level in the Eden Valley. Fermented and matured for 11 months in French oak barriques (28% new, 25% one year old and the rest older). The wines are crafted by Marc Van Halderen.

Generous and soft nose. Plenty of lees and barrel work with soft and approachable latte cream, hazelnut butter, white dinner roll, fresh cotton sheets with support from the nectarine stone fruit, lemon pith and struck match flintiness. Fine interplay of richer winemaking influence and tangy fruit resulting in a jostling for position in this youthful frame. The finish is lean and focused with good drive.
