So 2020, according to the media release was touted as a “super” vintage. French and American oak maturation (25% new).
Serafino, Shiraz, McLaren Vale, 2020
Charming and opulent. Sweet vanilla oak wraps plenty of fragrant black fruits (think blackberry, boysenberry, black plum), easy clove and pepper spice, licorice allsorts, choc nut bar and deep rose. On point palate: balances juicy dark fruit with firm, ripe tannin structure. Lingering herb edged licorice covers a mineral, steely spine. Quality.
