Freshly released. A shift again in the blend: Pinot Meunier still dominant (50%) before Pinot Noir (46%) and Chardonnay (4%). Tiraging occurred in November 2023 with the wine then spending 31 months in bottle before disgorging and a low dosage of 7.5g/L in June 2026
DAOSA, Rosé, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Meunier, Piccadilly Valley, 2023
Pale coppery dusk in colour. A persistent and rapid moving galaxy of beading. Dusty nose giving a nod to the dominant Meunier before cherry Danish pastry, pink grapefruit and candle wax. Power from the red fruits with a firm, but not coarse palate. Stays refined with the right amount of Chardonnay for focus through the tail. Closing salivating and briny. Excellent value.
