The other of the well priced Signature range (alongside the Shiraz) from Bremerton Wines from Langhorne Creek.
Bremerton, Coulthard, Cabernet Sauvignon, Langhorne Creek, 2020
Varietal tobacco, beetroot, muddy earth, blackcurrant, blueberry, parmesan rind, chunky black olive, campfire smoke and pencil wood. Fruit is secondary and behind the structure. Tannins are spreading and puckeringly dry while the acidity is tangy and cutting before savoury echoes. Well priced and varietal, this will need sweet young spit roast lamb fat or some cellar time.
RRP: $22
Alc: 14.5%
Rating: 17.5/20 (90/100)
