A blend of Sangiovese, Sagrantino and Montepulciano. Probably the first of its kind in the cool climate Orange region of New South Wales.
Angullong, Crossing Reserve, Harriet, Orange, 2019
Herbal and earthy: Mushroom fin and cherry jam with blueberry, cola, blue metal, raspberry leaf, dark swathes of baked herbs and roast pan jus. Silky with friendly red fruits, savoury baked pastry and meats with fine drying tannins interrupted by pinches of acidity. Ultimately drinkable.
