Pét Nat (pétillant naturel). Neil calls it Méthode Ancestrale. Bottled unfiltered and unfined. Vegan friendly winemaking. No added sulphites. Label artwork “Garriya” by Tegan O’Flynn.
Moondarra, Pét Nat Rosé, Pinot Noir, Gippsland, NV
Oh, this was a gusher! Lost about 1/5th of the bottle. Cloudy orange hue. Toffee, red currant, chalk, red apple, smoked meats and day old orange peel. Tight mousse. Drying, chalky texture with sour cherry tang. Nothing complex through the quick finish, but still offers fun drinking (where other Pét Nats do not).
RRP: $30
