Fowles Wine, Ladies Who Shoot Their Lunch, Shiraz, Victoria, 2019
Bruise purple with a bright rim. Crushed ant, milk chocolate, blood plum, warm baking spices, sage, black peppercorn and bluestone. Full bodied and plush, nearing opulent. Plentiful dark berry fruit with comforting spice and a chocolately hug. Suede tannins and a focused finish underline the inherent class of the wine.
