Fowles Wine are located in the Strathbogie Ranges in the Central North Victoria. Always a good place to stop when driving on the Hume Freeway between Melbourne and Sydney. An assemblage of parcels. Wild ferment but an assemblage of parcels. Various vessels for over 12 months maturation: New oak, old oak (including 150 year old English oak casks) and stainless steel.

Bruise purple with a bright rim. Crushed ant, milk chocolate, blood plum, warm baking spices, sage, black peppercorn and bluestone. Full bodied and plush, nearing opulent. Plentiful dark berry fruit with comforting spice and a chocolately hug. Suede tannins and a focused finish underline the inherent class of the wine.
