Quartz Hill, Viognier, Pyrenees, 2020
Hints of just ripe white to yellow apricot, with easy doughy depth, lemon skin citrus, chicken skin, salted caramel, alluvial dirt, smoked ham, Holds richness that belies the abv. Sandy phenolic grip, intense acidity and serious tone. Powerful and yet delicate with sweet echoes of just ripe stone fruit and honey.
