Part of the popular Little Giant range. Winemakers are Corey Ryan and Jim Zerella. The bottles are a stocky, stout package representative of its moniker: the southern hairy-nose wombat, South Australia’s fauna emblem.
Little Giant, Cabernet Sauvignon, Coonawarra, 2021
Deep garnet with bright rim. Turned earth, blackberry, lacquer, bramble, cedary oak, tea cake, malt biscuit and mocha. Signature Coonawarra tight, firm and dusty tannin with a slightly herbaceous edge to the somewhat thin fruit. Acidity makes a late flourish with a juicy burst to cut through. A little tough on its own as a drink, but will work perfectly with BBQ lamb chops.
