Heirloom Vineyards, Pinot Grigio, Adelaide Hills, 2022
Pale lemon/clear hue. Pear skin, waxy apple box, lemon and native blossom, a little camphor smoke with a kiss of butterscotch. Carrying good palate weight with a little waxy phenolics and fruit redolent of green pear, apple and lemony citrus. Tart acidity makes things dry and juicy through the finish. Serve with crispy pork bites.
