Yalumba, The Y Series, Chardonnay, South Australia, 2023
Light lemon/straw colour. Soft and fleshy stone fruit, grapefruit pith, lemon drop boiled lollies, a little sesame oil, green mango and hint of vanilla ice cream richness. Fleshy and soft palate hitting all the varietal targets with bittersweet grapefruit, white rocks and blossoms and spiced, nutty, savoury edge. The finish is simple, but juicy.
