Angullong, Fossil Hill, Shiraz, Orange, 2023

Deep garnet hue. Licorice and clove stud spice, stewing plums, vanilla bean, blue and black berries, black tea, white pepper and camp ground mornings/earthy/minty/eucalypt aroma. Smooth and flowing, runs medium to full bodied. There’s that cool climate heart of dark fruit and white pepper punch. Generous up front to a neat fade of grainy, fine tannins. Regional tartness helps keep the tail lifted.
