Today (currently the 8th of March) is International Women’s Day, and whilst these wines may have masculine overtones, there’s a very definite link to the feminine side of the Glaezter clan. Here’s a little more of that story.
Wallace, Shiraz/Grenache, 2015
Big sniff…close your eyes and you could be standing right in the middle of Tanunda: rich plum, dark raspberry, rubber, asphalt, gravel and that ever so slightly coconuty oak. The palate firm and just with dark tart cherry, plum, bitter chocolate that finishes with raspy balanced tannins. It’s what you should have when you want Barossa.
