Aromatic and lifted: perfumed cherry, cherry wood, leafy influences under black berry with classy oak vanilla paste influence and light cigar ash. The palate focused, intense and considered. The firm tannins rumble wonderfully, enjoyably offsetting the shiny black fruit. Iconic indeed. Cellar for another 20 years.
