From Trapani, Terre Siciliane I.G.P, so technically this is a Rosato. Certified Organic (Italian Certification) and made from Nero D’Avola.

Pale peach hue. Fragrant red fruit aromas of summer berries, red currants and a dash of creaminess with distinct green line that nudges tobacco. Dry, fine and simply done with short to medium length palate. Some Campari-esque bitters make for a point of interest but ultimately, it feels one dimensional. Potentially a fine foil for a chunk of salami Calabrese.
