From 15 year old vineyards in the foothills of the Mount Canobolas in the Orange region of New South Wales. This Barbera was matured for 12 months in French Oak (20% new).

The nose provides cherry, blackberry and bramble while violet flowers, light tobacco and leather are also prominent. The palate medium to lean. Offering spice with a fine lift of dried cherry as a focus and leafy herb provide shade. The tannin profile somewhat astringent and tight. Partner up to braised beef short rib.
