Heartland Wines, Cabernet Sauvignon, Langhorne Creek, 2017
Fresh eucalyptus leaf and dry gum nut, tobacco pouch, cedar and vanilla oak, plenty of blackcurrant/cassis and ground brown spice. Refined, medium bodied with cool dark fruits. There’s good amounts of varietal mint to supplement slick blackcurrant and chocolate. Tannins are fine grained and spread evenly through the finish. Handsome. Good value.
