Shaw and Smith, Shiraz, Adelaide Hills, 2018
Spice and depth on the nose. The whole bunch influence obvious as presents a near solid wall of perfume. White and pink pepper, Fruit Cake spice and fruit peel, red florals, cedary oak hit with crisp and bright red fruits. Supple almost viscous palate, with just smoky oak influence. The tannins hold the right amount of chew and carry a long, long drive of flavour. A confident and exacting wine with each detail precisely executed.
