Clandestine Vineyards, Shiraz, McLaren Vale, 2019

Black cherry fruits, earthy sweet molasses and baking spice. White and pink pepper and just enough stalky lift to give a licorice-esque lick. Supple and slick with generous dark fruits and just enough chewy tack from the tannins. Perfect match for your choice of charred protein.

RRP: $30
Alc: 14.5%
Rating: 17.25/20 (90/100)
