Little Giant, Little Batch, Malbec/Shiraz, Clare Valley, 2020

Deep bruise purple in colour. Dark and herbal Malbec gives an inky edge with black tea leaves (Earl Grey, perhaps) while plump blue plum and blackberry from the Shiraz. Rich chocolatey oak gives a comforting blanketing.  Full bodied sure, but well structured with fine concentration and intensity. Some juicy acidity runs as a veiled vein through the medium finish with tacky, grippy tannins. A very enjoyable release.
