Sauvignon Blanc can be an interesting, textural wine when put in the right hands. This fumé style Sauv Blanc was barrel aged in old French oak for 8 months.

Honeysuckle and jasmine over crisp snow pea with a ginger nut savoury funk providing interest with varietal passionfruit pulp and creamy coconut “yoghurt.” A soft, creamy palate with width provides comfort and approachability, ably propped up with zesty freshness of juicy acidity. A slightly salty tang through a balanced finish is well appreciated, too. A fine example of Sauvignon Blanc.
