Purple Hands Wines, Planta Circa , Ancestor Vine, Shiraz, Barossa Valley, 2019
Deep garnet with an opaque heart. Barossa, but more calm and serene than most examples. Christmas cake and baking spices over black pepper, mocha and vanilla, grilled plum, dark cherry and a licorice hint. Brightness of fruit with silky sweeps and finely knitted tannins. The finish delicately, keenly balanced. Barossa Shiraz sure, but handled with kid gloves. A beautiful wine.
