Grant Burge Nebu Cabernet Shiraz 2018

The third release of this label for the Grant Burge stable: Nebu is short for Nebuchadnezzar, one of the Babylonian kings and joins the other icons from Grant Burge: Meshach Shiraz, Shadrach Cabernet Sauvignon and the Abednego Shiraz Mourvèdre Grenache.  Cabernet from the Cameron Vale vineyard and Shiraz from the centurion Filsell vineyard. Updated labeling and released in Australia under screw cap (unlike bottle image)

Cabernet dominant nose: Blackberry paste, bramble, black olive, light cigar box, creosote and choc mint with support from the Shiraz offering spice and meat, ferrous influences. Powerful, dark and long. Structured with drying, firm focused coating tannins that never waver from their intent. Plenty of spice and finishes fresh.
