2021 a return to vintage form across the country. Rockstar team Shaw + Smith continue to impress. Hand picked fruit and whole bunch pressed. The wine fermented and matured on its lees in French oak barriques and puncheons.

Pale straw lemon colour.  Exclamation worthy aromas: nectarine, grapefruit, perfectly-just-out-of-the-oven-biscuity and nutty tones with easy creaminess and the juxtaposition of subtle florals and austere stoniness. Joyous balance of depth, generosity and tight, restrained power. Intent and focus, with a long, detailed finish of fruit and savoury richness. This presents now as simply a base layer to build upon for future glory.
