Wolf Blass, Fire & Blood, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, South Australia, 2021
Plump and decadent. Akin to the famed series, there’s grandeur and guts. Earthy tones of Cabernet with bay and olive giving base to moist tobacco, mint and dusty blackcurrant. Plenty of oily leather tunic, plummy black pepper spice and chunks of choc vanilla caramel oak. Not taking any prisoners on the palate with full bodied life and juicy thrust ripping over long, waxy tannins. Serve with your favourite flame roasted beast.
