Yalumba, GEN, Organic, Viognier, South Australia, 2022
Pale to medium lemon. Solid varietal Viognier notes with apricot flesh and honeysuckle blossom sweetness. There’s warming white pepper and roasted (unsalted) cashew. Weight with rich stone fruit flesh and honeyed tones before a focused finish and peppery spice. Not overtly complex but well crafted (as expected from Yalumba) and thoroughly delicious. Yes please.
