Yalumba, GEN, Organic, Shiraz, South Australia, 2021
Bright to bruise purple. Fresh and fragrant: Violets and berry coulis with licorice dark sweetness, plum jam, black peppercorns, CWA Fruit Cake, parmesan rind and fresh leather gloves. Slinky and fruit forward. Brightly fruited with impressive floral lift. There’s good spice and soft but firm tannin. No need to think about this one, plenty to enjoy.
