Deep garnet hue. Plenty of pencilly and creamy sweet oak influences to the nose over ripe plums. Some medicinal herb like notes (bay leaf and fennel), dark chocolate buttons, coffee grounds and soft bark. Slick and Barossa expected palate. Tight dark fruit profile with a soy-like umami counterpoint. Plentiful grainy tannins and a cushiony oak wrap. Plenty of time left for the structure to fill out and integrate,
