When Barossa Cabernet is on….it’s on. This spends in 18 Months French and American Oak. Winemaker is Jeremy Ottawa.
Chateau Tanunda, Grand Barossa, Cabernet Sauvignon, Barossa, 2021
Near glass staining deep purple. Chocolatey oak with tomato stalk, old spearmint leaves, gun smoke, wet campfire earth with sweeter cassis and purple florals. Sweet fruit focus offset with fresh black olive underpinned by somewhat easy tannins (they’re there, don’t worry…but just a kitten’s lick) and plenty of freshness through the back palate. Ready to go now for those that want a more fruit driven style of Cabernet.
