Sidewood Estate, Gamay, Adelaide Hills, 2025
Deep colour. Kirsch, black cherry, raspberry, inky, malty/cedar oak, pepper corns and nuances of blood orange and amaro herbs. Full bodied, with fleshy edges and just grippy tannins. A little acid flourish gives brightness through the tail before a little graphite bite. Certainly a wine to enjoy for the now.
