Ross Hill, Pinnacle Series, Cabernet Sauvignon, Orange, 2024
Far more intense than its sibling Franc. Layered and complex, with concentrated cassis, black olive, pouch tobacco and roast walnuts. Clove spice and licorice, vanilla bean paste, roasting coffee beans and cedar. Chunky and deeply flavoured. Plenty of earthy black fruits studded with cove and licorice spice. Char, leather and tobacco all provide a savoury off-set. The tannins are firm and drying before a little freshen up of regional acidity.
