Smith & Hooper are part of the Hill Smith Family Vineyards stable (which includes the famous Yalumba) and draw their fruit from Wrattonbully, just north of Coonawarra. The fruit is hand picked and the wine wild fermented.

A pale gold hue with faint green highlights. Green and nashi pear aromas with native fennel/anise and a little creamy depth. Light to medium bodied, the palate provides some texture and consistency from start to finish. Flavours of green pomme fruits that feel a touch muted. Stays somewhat fresh with green apple like acidity through a medium length tail. Serviceable.
