If you ever visit the d’Arenberg Cube, you’ll find Stephanie near the front door. This year, a blend of Mourvedre, Sangiovese, Sagrantino, and Cinsault. The fruit all comes from Biodynamic, Certified Organic vineyards and the wine is made Vegan friendly.
d’Arenberg, Stephanie The Gnome With Rose Coloured Glasses, Rosé, McLaren Vale, 2020
A light cherry/cerise hue in the glass. Watermelon, white peach, red apple, white cherry, maybe a little bit of whiteboard texta “lift.” Fuller style, carrying weight and a touch of RS to offset crunchy red fruits and a leafy, herbal lift. Best served chilled to ensure the crispness stays at forefront. Good match to Indian-style curries with a bit a kick to them.
RRP: $25
Alc: 13%
Rating: 17/20 (89/100)
