The label for this wine almost paints the palate perfectly. That’s a fair bit of alliteration, sorry. Fruit from the Tamar and Derwent Valleys.
Eddystone Point, Riesling, Tasmania, 2019
Fresh\nes with a sea spray hint over citrus lemon rind/peel and lime juice, wet stone nuances with just a hint of barley sugar sweetness. Fine classic Riesling lines, bolstered with some depth and richness of flesh for immediate appeal. Bright limey fruit with buzzy, juicy, (but not screaming) acidity. Not made for thinking, yet dangerously drinkable.
