Natural ferment. 9 months on lees in a mixture of old and new French oak
Di Giorgio Family Wines, Chardonnay, Coonawarra, 2018
Pale lemon gold. Grapefruit and lemon lime citrus and stonefruit fuzz over butter wrap, nutmeg spicy oak. Good tang of bittersweet and lemon drop bright citrus in a just medium-light frame, with lingering stonefruit, pleasant length and fine lift to the tail. Oak presents as a touch spicy. Schnitzel anyone?
