Bay Of Fires celebrate their 20th anniversary this year and in that time have quickly risen to the top of the pile for Tasmanian wineries. Having had such lauded head winemakers as Fran Austin and Pete Dredge overseeing the wines, Chief Winemaker is now homegrown Penny Jones, ably supported by two other locals in Stewart Byrne and Kathryn Bevan. Fruit for this wine comes from the Coal River and Derwent Valleys in Southern Tasmania
