Deep garnet, near opaque. Earthy stone with raspberry prime but dark berry mélange, black pepper, dark licorice, steak n’ kidney pie, cabbage rose and char. Slick and modern palate with fine polish to the medium weight. Dark fruit to the fore, attractively pieced together with fine, easy tannins. Good length and balance.
