Not much information on the original maker, apart from it being a cooperative of sorts. A blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle (Vermentino) and Syrah (Shiraz). Imported into Australia by Allegiance Wines (via their Cox Wine Merchants arm).
Lumière de Provence, Rosé, Coteaux Varois Provence, 2021
Pale salmon to dusky peach in colour. A mixed nose: Savoury meal, raspberry juice and musk with citrus mix of pink grapefruit, mandarin pith and lemon zest. Fleshy, bittersweet pink grapefruit leading to a juicy, if somewhat sour acid drive through a medium length finish. Finishes refreshingly dry.
