A change in grape for the 2022 (the 2021 saw Tempranillo from WA), this time Mourvèdre from a single McLaren Vale vineyard.
Clandestine Vineyards, Mourvèdre, Rosé, McLaren Vale, 2022
Nowhere near as vibrant a colour as the bottle image suggests. Pink berries, pink peppercorns, white and red cherry, maraschino cherry, blood orange, paper and flaky pastry. Fresh fruit palate followed up with savoury, dry textural grip. Focused in the right areas while still maintaining generosity. Hyper food friendly.
RRP: $25
