From Geographe in WA, just north of Margaret River and close to the ocean. The colour is incredibly pale, and due to limited skin contact with the juice, tech sheet tells me that this only happened in the picking bins! Stainless steel stabilisation after pressing, then in to 100% older French oak for barrel fermentation.
Clandestine Vineyards, Tempranillo, Rosé, Geographe, 2020
Very pale copper/salmon. Fragrant nose of cherry blossom and fruit, a little red currant, pawpaw, woody spice and flaky pastry. Oak treatment gives a textural roundness that helps soften vibrant acidity to an otherwise easy body. Savoury, dry and hyper food friendly.
