The original Pewsey Vale vineyard was planted in 1847 while the label is part of the Hill-Smith Family Estates. Winemaking legend Louisa Rose’s signature appears on the rear label to show the importance of this brand to house. One of the OG EV Rieslings.

Pale hue. Squeezed lemon pulp, mineral spine with crushed chalk, buoyed by lychee and musk richness. Mineral water spritz freshness and hints of quinine/tonic water. Intense and driving with a veil of that musk richness. Mineral straight through a talc-like grip. Long, focused finished. Bargain.
