Fruit comes from blocks 29 and 30 in the famed vineyard. From a cracking vinatge, the winemaking same as previous vintages: 18 months maturation in French oak (~25% new). Note: bottle image is of 2018 but naught else has changed.
Howard Park, Leston, Cabernet Sauvignon, Margaret River, 2024

Deep garnet hue with purple edges. Plump blackberry and mulberry fruit, cherry pie, fresh bay leaf, roast walnut, graphite, licorice and rounded with a little cedar and vanilla oak. Medium to full, but with wonderfully balanced structure. Tannins are fine, assertive and woven beautifully. Fruit runs the same as the nose: ripe but not over-done black and purple berries with tart cherry nuance. A fine and clean tail with great length.
