Ruby red in the glass with a bright rim. Exciting and delicately perfumed nose with sandy earth, light beetroot, waxy candle, easy blue plum with an undertone of charcuterie and plenty of herbaceous lift. The wine cruises across the palate evoking almost Pinot Noir comparisons. Medium bodied and pulsing with plenty of blue/red fruits. Grippy stalky tannins peel away like velcro tabs on a toddler’s sneaker. Easy as you please.
