Yalumba, The Y Series, Chardonnay, South Australia, 2019
Light Jersey caramel/nougat over green melon, dried paw paw and grapefruit rind with a prickly nettle line. Swaying between a creamy depth of varietal chardonnay palate and zinging acidity with light tropical fruit and grapefruit citrus. No denying that it it offers a crisp refreshing dry Chardonnay but just without hitting the highs of the others in the range.
