Terre à Terre, Down To Earth, Sauvignon Blanc, Wrattonbully, 2019
Quartzy sand with gingerbread spice over smoky macadamia nuttiness and understated honeysuckle. Some clarified butter richness too.Not even an espy of green Complex and savoury palate providing a wine of richness, depth and power. Fruit flavours lean towards heritage apple with citrus lemon barley lift and whisker of warm passionfruit pulp. The acidity is still high underneath a light blanket of chalky phenolic grip. A serious Sauvignon Blanc.
