Yalumba, Grenache, Shiraz, Mataro, Barossa, 2018
Harmonious and spiced with boysenberry, “pen eraser,” gravel, quince paste, blackberry, plum jam, fennel seeds, warm leather and chocolate ganache. Silky and full, all parts contributing to a floral and spiced fleshy palate before soft, easy tannins all freshened up with clean finish. Go for an earthy food match: kangaroo fillets with roast beetroot and pepperberry jus.
